Vidende is a software platform owned by Brallum Ltd ("Brallum"). This privacy policy will explain how our organization uses the personal data we collect from you when you use the Vidende platform.
Brallum takes the privacy and security of your personal information very seriously, and we’re committed to protecting and respecting your privacy.
When we use "Brallum", "we", "our" or "us" throughout this Policy, we’re referring to Brallum Limited. Our legal entity is registered in England and Wales and acts as a data processor of your personal information.
Personal information is only transferred into the Vidende platform by companies that are the data controllers of your information.
Our Privacy Policy explains which personal information we collect from you, how we store it and use it. It also covers how we treat information you give to us, and information we take from third parties. It contains important information about your rights. We hope you read the Policy carefully so you understand and feel comfortable with how we treat your personal information. By engaging with us in the ways set out in this Policy, you confirm that you have read and understood the entirety of this Policy, as it applies to you.
We recognise that there are risks to you with us processing your personal information, such as financial loss if there is a security breach. You can find out more information about our security measures below.

What data do we collect?
Brallum Processes the following data:
- Personal identification information used as credentials within the Vidende platform (Name & email address).
- Data Controlled by other parties for their use (Name, Email Address, Address, Date of Birth)
How do we collect your data?
Users of the Vidende Platform provide Brallum with the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you:
- Have one of your Company Administrators register you online to use the platform.
Brallum may also receive your data indirectly from the following sources:
- Companies that use Brallum as a Data Processor when they upload your Personal Data (referred to as "Company Personal Data") into the Vidende Platform
How will we use your data?
Brallum collects your data (Name & Email) so that we can:
- Manage your online account.
- Email you notifications about activity based on your preferences.
- Identify you when you make comments within the Vidende platform.
- Display the activity and status of your actions within the Vidende Platform
Company Personal Data so that we can:
- Store and retrieve your data in our Vidende platform on behalf of the company.
How do we store your data?
Brallum securely stores your data within a Microsoft Azure datacentre. Data is stored in the UK South datacentre with backup and failover using the UK West datacentre. Data will be stored at rest using the Azure SQL Database and Azure BLOB storage technologies and it will be encrypted at rest.
Brallum will keep your identification information from Vidende login credentials for two years after your account is deactivated. Once this time period has expired, we will delete your data by removing the personal identification from your user record.
Company Personal Data will be kept as per the terms agreed with that company when they sign up to use the platform. Upon Termination company data is deleted and returned to the relevant organisation.
Marketing
Brallum does not use your information for marketing purposes.
What are your data protection rights?
Brallum would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following:
The right to access – You have the right to request Brallum for copies of your personal data. We may charge you a small fee for this service.
The right to rectification – You have the right to request that Brallum correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request Brallum to complete the information you believe is incomplete.
The right to erasure – You have the right to request that Brallum erase your personal data, under certain conditions.
The right to restrict processing – You have the right to request that Brallum restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
The right to object to processing – You have the right to object to Brallum’s processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
The right to data portability – You have the right to request that Brallum transfer the data that we have collected to another organization, or directly to you, under certain conditions.
